Is PPF Worth It on a New Car?
New paint is at its best on delivery day. Here is why many owners fit PPF before the first motorway trip.
Collecting a new car is a great feeling — until the first stone chip on the bonnet. Paint protection film is the best way to keep factory paint perfect.
Why fit PPF early?
New paint has zero chips and zero swirls. Fitting film at this point locks that condition in. Fitting later usually means paint correction and touch-ups first.
Coverage options
- Front-end pack: bumper, bonnet (full or partial), wings and mirrors
- Track pack: front end plus sills, rear arches and door edges
- Full body: every painted panel
Does it change how the car looks?
Quality modern film is optically clear. Gloss film disappears on most colours, while satin film can give a gloss car a stealth matte finish — fully reversible.
Resale value
A car with near-perfect original paint is easier to sell and more attractive to buyers — especially in the prestige market.
